How It Works
The medication is a combination of two different types of anti-diabetic drugs that work in complementary ways:
- Dapagliflozin (an SGLT2 inhibitor) works in the kidneys to block the reabsorption of glucose into the blood, promoting the excretion of excess sugar through urine.
